Yasmin Allen
Chairman, Advance

Yasmin is the Chairman of Advance, a non-executive director at ASX Limited and a director of the ASX Clearing & Settlement boards and serves on ASX’s Audit committee. She is also a director of Cochlear Limited (and Chairman of its Audit Committee) and Santos Limited (and Chairman of Santos’ People Remuneration & Culture Committee and a member of Santos Audit & Risk Committee). Yasmin is also a Director of the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra and a member of the board of The George Institute for Global Health, a medical research and commercialisation group. Her previous directorships include IAG Limited, EFIC (Australia’s Export Bank) and she is the former Chairman of Macquarie Group’s Global Infrastructure Funds.


Prior to her directorships, Yasmin had an extensive career in investment banking, including as Vice President of Deutsche Bank, Director of ANZ Investment Bank in Sydney and Director with HSBC in London


Yasmin has a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and in 2015 was awarded the Melbourne University Alumni of Distinction. Yasmin is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member (and former council member) of Chief Executive Women.


Anna Whitlam
Managing Director, Anna Whitlam People

Anna Whitlam has been a leader in her field for over 20 years and founded AWP in 2010. Today, Anna’s team and partners work across the globe to provide executive search and strategy advisory services focused on the practice areas that have the largest impact on reputation and risk in organisations, both internally and externally.

Anna is an alumna of Harvard Business School in Boston (USA) and INSEAD in Singapore. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business and the AICD Company Directors’ accreditation.

Anna’s leadership has seen her become a member of the prestigious Arthur W. Page Society, the world’s leading professional association for senior public relations and corporate communications executives and educators. She is an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in Hong Kong.


Anna is a co-founder and non-executive director of Commtract Pty Ltd, an online marketplace for communications talent.


Anna regularly hosts high profile guests and leaders at industry roundtables across the globe. Anna is a respected industry thought leader, contributing her time and insights as a speaker and commentator. She is often cited as one of Australia’s top female entrepreneurs, Anna has won a number of significant awards, recognising her as a business and community leader helping women realise their career aspirations.


Penny Burtt
Group Chief Executive Officer, Asialink

With more than 25 years of experience in diplomacy, trade and investment, international business and consulting at the most senior levels across four continents, she is currently the Group CEO of Asialink, Australia’s leading centre for Asia engagement. In a career spanning the business, government and nonprofit sectors, she has held senior leadership positions in the Asia-Pacific with global multinationals Visa Inc, the digital payments company, and consulting firm McKinsey&Company. A former senior diplomat, Penny represented Australia in Asia and the United Nations. With deep expertise in Southeast Asia, Penny served in embassies in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, as Assistant Secretary Southeast Asia and as an Asia advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Penny has held Executive Board Member with key business associations and nonprofits in Singapore and the United States, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, the US National Centre for APEC and as Vice-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce.


Mukund Narayanamurti
Chief Executive Officer, Asialink Business

As the CEO of Asialink Business, Mukund is leading the organisation's mandate from the Australian Federal Government (Department of Industry, Innovation & Science), the Myer Foundation and the University of Melbourne, to create an Asia capable workforce in Australia through the delivery of best in class capability development programs, applied research and market insights focused on Australia's engagement with Asia. Mukund built his experience at KPMG facilitating engagement between Australia and Asia in sectors including energy and resources, banking, agribusiness, education and information technology. 

Mukund received his MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has also received a Master of International Tax from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Deakin University.

He was awarded Deakin University's inaugural "Alumnus of the Year" award in 2011 and an Australian Leadership Award from the Australian Davos Connection in 2012.


Daniel Selikowitz
Partner, Boston Consulting Group

Daniel Selikowitz is a Partner in BCG’s Principal Investors & Private Equity and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices, based in Sydney. He specialises in transaction support, market design and shareholder value creation – with particular focus in the infrastructure and healthcare domains. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws from University of Sydney with the University Medal, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
