Hong Tran

Hong Tran is a partner of Mayer Brown and is a Co-Firm Practice Leader of the global Employment and Benefits Group. He advises employers on compliance with employment, discrimination and privacy legislation. He also advises on strategic labour force issues including the structure of employment relationships; risk management in the employment and discrimination context; the introduction of changes to employment arrangements; the handling of union relations; and recruitment, disciplinary and termination issues.


He is experienced in handling employment disputes, discrimination and privacy complaints/issues. He represents employers engaged in legal proceedings at the various court levels from the Labour Tribunal through to the Court of Final Appeal. He also advises employers in responding to investigations by the Labour Department, Equal Opportunities Commission and the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Privacy. Hong speaks English, Cantonese and Chiu Chow dialect. He has been ranked as Band 1 lawyer in employment Hong Kong Law by Chambers Asia Pacific (2017-2020) and a "Leading individual" in employment law by Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2015-2020). 


Dr. Ahmed Fahmy

Dr. Fahmy completed his Medical Degree at the University Pierre et Marie Curie, France. He obtained a diploma in Emergency Medicine from the University Necker, a diploma in Aviation Medicine from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and his Masters in Health System Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the United Kingdom.


He started his medical career in France, first working as a doctor in a ski resort clinic, followed by positions in the emergency departments of several local hospitals. He then went into private practice and completed a thesis based on the clinical findings of Rudolph Virchow and disease and experimental pathology in 1994. The following year he joined Service Medical International and worked in remote areas including Kinshasa in Zaire, China and Nigeria.


In 1997, Dr Fahmy joined International SOS as a Clinic and Alarm Centre Doctor working in Indonesia, followed by Vietnam. In 1998, he moved to Beijing as a Clinic Doctor and joined the Hong Kong office in 1999. He was promoted to Deputy Medical Director in 2000 and to Medical Director in 2005.The mission he had completed including, but not limited to. Beijing, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Nigeria and Vietnam.
